Fun fact: After enrolling in her coaching & bootcamp, within a month of completing I was able to land this role, which I was initially rejected for month 4 months later. Best advice given by her: you have to humbly let go of who you were so you can start over stronger by being still and listening to God. “Rejection is redirection”

I love the personalized approach Kayla takes throughout the Tech level experience. She really helps you as a person allow your personality to shine through during interviews and she also helps you as a candidate really show your value proposition during the interview.

This course, unlike others, gives you a lot of 1:1 time to ask any questions you may have at different stages throughout the process and receive real-time feedback.

I did this by treating this recruitment process like a cold prospect. I received an incredible amount of praise and thank you to everyone on that call for your well wishes!

A few gems from this process that I’ve learned from being coached by Kayla Burke, which I’ve been able to receive through completing her Tech sales bootcamp, The Tech Level, are as follows..

💎 The interview process should mirror what we’d be doing in our role as a SDR or a BDR. DON’T be afraid to cold email recruiters and company leaders who make the decisions in hiring. Prove to them we are capable of completing the job. Embody the true depiction of these roles.

💎Pick up the phone! Cold calling should become the new norm. Since this is something we will be doing often in these roles, it makes sense to get used to it and fast, if we are not already.

💎 Be clear and direct with the skills we have to offer that matches our prospective companies. The interview process will be like a discovery call for a new client. The recruiter’s pain point is that they need new reps to continue to drive pipeline, and the solution we have to offer are our skills. Understand exactly what they are hiring for and know whether or not we are capable of rendering those expectations.

I am so excited for this opportunity and ready for all that it may bring!
